Epoxy resins fall under the collective term synthetic resins. These synthetic resins can be used in a wide variety of ways and, depending on the type, are suitable for coating surfaces made of almost any material, or for producing cast parts. Epoxy resin is used in the manufacture of GRP parts for vehicle and boat construction or also for surfboards. They are also very popular in the construction of tables and for coating floors.
In some cases, a special epoxy resin can be mixed with different hardeners (also in different mixing ratios) and is therefore suitable, depending on the hardener selected, for example for casting components of different thicknesses. For this reason, one also occasionally sees the term reaction resins.
Our resin LP 5035 UV you can with the hardener HP 0352 mix in order to cast cast parts up to a thickness of max.2cm, mix it with the hardener HP 0433 layer thicknesses of up to a maximum of 5cm (in just one pour) can be achieved. If that is not enough for you, then use our hardener HP 1732 in order to achieve casting heights of up to 10 cm, but this also depends on the amount that is to be processed. The LP 5035 UV has very good self-venting properties and thus enables a perfect bubble-free result.
In the construction industry, epoxy resins are also used for a wide variety of applications, be it sealing, the introduction of subsequent reinforcement connections or the coating of floors in industrial halls.
